The One-Straw Revolution

This is a great book by great natural farmer Masanobu Fukuoka. In this books is his narration of how he was drawn towards natural farming and his experiments over the years. Now his farm is place where researches, farmers etc flock to learn the principles of natural farming. This book is a must read, if you are a nature enthusiast. What most of the researchers find astonishing is how Masanobu Fukuoka is able to reap the same results as the so called scientific farming.

My First Love

by Sarika 26. April 2009 16:02

I was so in love with you,
the first time you held me
in the comfort of your arms.
The first time you looked at me...
Those beautiful brown eyes of yours,
looking at mine - closed in bliss...
That smile of yours- amused,
The smile - of sheer, pure and absolute love!

Some say love at first sight does not exist..
But I know for sure - that you loved me,
Fully and unconditionally
since the very moment you set your eyes upon me...
Or had you loved me, wished for me, prayed for me
even before that first meeting?!

O my dearest, I love you!
You are my first love...
You taught me what it means...
I have loved you before I understood that I did..
I have loved you each time you whispered
those sweet nothings into my ears...
I loved you each time you reassured
my silly insecure love of yours deep and divine!
I've loved you for every little thing you did for me..
expecting so little from me in return...
I have loved you and always will...
Because you are YOU!!

My Dearest Mother!!!

When I Asked God for Wealth
He Showed Me How to Work Hard

When I Asked God for Favors
He Showed Me Opportunities to Work Hard

When I Asked God for Peace

Light in the Dark

by Sarika 18. January 2009 15:13

The One who knows me inside out,

The One who reads me like a book;

The One who has no shade of doubt,

The One who deciphers my every look.

The Pillar from which all strength i draw,

The Lamp that guides me through the dark,

My Mother forgiving my every flaw,

My Father helping me make my mark.

The One whose love for me knows no bounds,

The One who gives but does ask back not;

The One whose purity always astounds,

The One who's found by those who sought.

The Knight who protects, The Teacher who corrects;

The Benefactor who feeds, The Prophet who leads;

The Tree providing shade, The Shepherd looking for the strayed;

The Ray providing hope, The Support helping us cope.

The Greatest yet The most Humble,

The Almighty, The Protector of the weak,

The One who hears praise and also receives grumble,

The Hope of a better tomorrow for the meek.

The Giver of the greatest gift of Life,

The Creator of all the wonders of the Universe;

Faith in Him makes easy life's each strife

And makes a blessing out of every curse.
